Nothing until you met me

by vanessa   Nov 12, 2006

I was beautiful, I was happy, I was pure and free, I met you, you promised so much, and gave me misery. You took my heart you took my soul, you left me, hopeless with no friends no hope. I'm alone with no one and you are happy cause you were nothing before and now you have all of me.
I will fight to find what was originally mine, take what you got from me,shove it up your behind.I will rise above you and the old me.

I love this-it is a poem of defiance, that no one will destroy the love in your heart.A refusal to be broken by heartbreak. An inspiration to all the lost and lonely.
