Holding My Tongue

by Amanda   Nov 13, 2006

Different.
And so odd.
But I smile at you..
and just nod.

you're so innocent
but make your foolish regrets
And still inside your head..
you're hiding all these secrets.

you call everything a b****,
and you cuss all day,
but when you talk..
you put butterflies in my stomach anyway.

I've never met anyone like you..
you're so new to me.
and when I'm in your arms...
i feel so safe and free.

when we're alone..
you're so honest and true.
i just hope one of these days..
in front of your friends you'll say "i love you"

i love when you hold my hand..
and when you kiss my lips so softly
i love when you hug me so close..
and put warmth inside of me.

i don't know what I'd do without you
you mean so much.
i always wanna be able..
to feel your loving touch

i want you here for me
when i need someone
so please don't leave me anytime soon
because I'm not yet done

no one can make me smile
the way that you do
so what I'm saying now
is from my heart and is completely true

all your secrets are hiding Chase..
hiding in your eyes and in your head
but you don't have to keep them much longer
because I'm holding MY tongue instead.

I'm hiding something also
lets call it a secret.
I'm about to be telling you..
but i hope i don't regret it.

i never thought these feelings existed
but I'm telling you now and true.
this is coming from my heart Chase..
I'm not falling for you...

--lust hurts in the long run--
