All I ever wanted,
Was for a boy to understand me.
For someone to see past the act,
And know I wasn't happy.

Just wanted someone who didn't sweet talk,
And not mean the things he'd say .
For a guy who'd try and make me smile,
In every different way.

I don't ask for much,
Just for a guy whose feelings are real.
Not just another jack a s s,
That doesn't understand how I feel.

For someone to hold me when I'm sad,
Or even if I'm simply cold.

Just a guy that cares,

And actually mean every word.
And out of all the girls, he'll put me first,
Not second, or third.

And even after all my mistakes,
And all the wrong I done.
He'll still love me for me,

Was feel his warm embrace.

That I was in the right place.

He wouldn't mind the scars,
The swearing, and the ferocity.
Even the imperfections,
And my stupidity.
