Brake These Chains ....

I only wanted to love you
& I asked for your love in return
but you acted as if I was nothing
like your love I didn't earn
so I asked you what was wrong ?
were you not feeling well ?
the reply you gave me
hurt my heart like hell
you said you were fine
until you saw my face
you said you knew I'd bring you trouble
I just shook my head in shame
I didn't mean to ruin your day
or bring upon your face a frown
I guess the love you had for me
has truly died down
so I guess I can brake these chains now
since our love is no longer flowing
instead it's down the drain
where my heart will forever be buried .
