All the time and difficulties they went through
i never thought that it would be such a great view
the greatest view was to see that they had done so much for me
knowing that they came this for just for us all to be free
i feel like my family came to the US as fast as they can for our future
just as i look around for someone and there they were
my family departed from their family with nothing to think about
they made sure that they make it to the US with no doubt
time has run by so fast when everything had change so quick
thinking back to when things were miserable could make you sick
now that we are free from the Vietnam War & into the US
many things given to us& earned is a wonderful bless
i am glad that I'm a citizen as i stand here
thinking about it, sheds one of my happy tear
