My great grandma

My Great Grandma
You are up in Heaven,
a better place for you,
you had gone through a lot in your life,
you got diagnosed with cancer at an old age.
We started becoming close when I got diagnosed with Lupus,
you were a strong and brave woman,
you tried to be cancer with all you had,
But it was too powerful and it took your life.
I wish I could of seen you one more time,
but I can't now and I didn't get to.
Knowing that you fought your hardest to survive,
Keeps me strong on wanting to fight Lupus.
Just knowing you believed in me,
makes me want to beat Lupus even more.
Knowing you lost your life to cancer,
I know you won't let me lost my battle to Lupus.
You are gone but not in my heart or soul,
i want you to know that you are my role model.
