A Vampire's Sorrow

by Crimson Moon   Nov 14, 2006

From the darkened lake a shadow rises through the night
And the dead trees are lightened by the moonlight
Their leaves fall slowly, covering the lake
While the morbid silence I break

My mournful whispered pray is spread in dusk
With tears of blood I pay for my lust
A life of regrets awaits for me
Forever I'm meant to cry for thee

Yet, a painful life does not enchant me
I shall drown my self in the deepest sea
Forgive me, my darling for being so weak
The blood lust is stronger... my soul is bleak

Meantime, the shadow started its call...
Bewitched, I fallow my dark lord
Leaving the frozen corpse
Lying under the dying silver ball

An interesting piece. This is the first time that I've read a Vampire/Sad/Love poem. It is a really great work. Keep it up and do try to control the blood lust.
