Life's Becoming Fantasies

by *Charisma*   Nov 14, 2006

Fairytales are really stories,
Or so I have been told.
Lately I can't tell the difference.
I've been bought on lies sold.

Since you've entered my life,
Reality and dreams blur.
What seems real to me, may not be,
But I'm never quite sure.

I see white horses and sunsets.
You appear as a prince.
There is no one else like you.
I've not been the same since.

Cinderella seems just as real
As any other girl.
And there are times I believe
She lives in this world.

For, how can I live a fairytale
And the ones I read be lies?
They must be based upon some truth,
Like the truth in your eyes.

For when I'm with you, I feel
The world's a safe place.
Though it's filled with lots of danger,
I see hope in your face.

Love is more than a long kiss
On those big movie screens.
You showed me it can happen,
Not just in romantic scenes.

So though my heart was once locked,
I'll hand you the keys.
You've shown me the truest love
And life's becoming fantasies.
