Come On Home

by Jemma   Nov 14, 2006

Treading the same trails
That were pounded by angry feet
And pummelled by fists
One last chance to flee our fury
To stop dwelling in utmost despair
Come on home

Though the fires burn
And Hell's fiends will stand against you
Angels shall try to steer you
But in the end you're still alone
Come on home

Devils in grey iron suits
Molten ash
Too many degrees Fahrenheit
Everything will blaze
Everything will burn

Pain is red raw
As you wander too far
Severing your ties to your heart
With each passing step you take

Though the fires smoulder
As Hell stands in your way
Let the angels guide you
And so when you're alone
Come on home

Labyrinths of dark thoughts
Haunting every turn
Find your way through darkness
Don't get lost again
Time to face what you left behind

Though the fires burn
And your heart broke long ago
Lost to Heaven and afraid of Hell
Deceived by your own demons
You would stay alone
With nowhere you could go

Though the flame still rises
And the army is now upon you
Angels shall stay to guide you
And when you are alone
Let them bring you home
