Orchestra

by Lindsay   Nov 14, 2006

When I look at you...
my soul cringes
my heart contracts
the solid foundation of my mind sublimates

I cannot stop my smile
my words fumble on their way out of my mouth
I feel pain, a kind that I have learned to crave

When I think of you
my breath quickens
my mind reaches out to you

Singing a silent
soprano in your honor
you love soprano do you not?

When I take off the mask you wear
I can see your soul
it cringes as mine does
and I feel joy
I can touch your heart
contracting as mine does
and I feel love

when you look at me
I can hear your breath
matching mine in rhythm

your mind is singing too
in baritone
I love baritone

You smile
your words fumble
you feel pain

Together we orchestrate out love
we would not have it any other way.
