Poetic Confessions

((These are a few poetry excerpts from my diary. I just chose certain lines and made them into a poem.))

November 8th, 2006

"You say 'I love you,'
And I'm weeping,
Because I'm tired of believing.
And when you kiss me I am flying,
Your hugs can stop my constant crying
My soul is soaring, it keeps roaring
But my heart is still ignoring...

I don't want it to happen again."

November 10th, 2006

"...And when you look at me, I want to cry
Because my world is seen
Straight through your eyes."

November 11th, 2006

"What is this heartache I am feeling?
It's so wonderfully appealing!
And I've heard that love is baneful,
...So vehemently shameful."

November 12th, 2006

"How can I save myself from falling,
When your voice is always calling,
I was lost deep in my mourning
Until you stormed in without warning,
And what is it I shall do,
To never fall in love with you?"

November 14th, 2006

"I want to run, but time's consuming
My happiness is bright and blooming
And then you speak,
And I am weeping,
I am so tired of believing...

I don't want it to happen again."
