Fate

by Levi   Nov 14, 2006

Trapped within a graveyard of dissipated dreams,
On broken wings I fall in God's tears I scream,
With a wilting razor fracture under my flesh,
Caressing the venom of the crow in Eden's dying nest
As the sky burns red and Good and Evil turn away,
Cursed by a reflection of guilt lost inside I pray.
The compassion of a faith forgotten within the wound,
Whispers from soulless prophets by the reaper consumed.
The blood shames the Angel of God at the ending way,
The black dove falls into the redemption of the final day.
Liberated from the sins of the past to be thrown right back down,
Lingering helplessly inside the caverns of the Devil's hound.
The reaper slowly comes and brings his dusk at dawn,
And the dying feelings come as the days decay what's torn.
The noose tightness but doesn't finish what it started to do,
And falling through the fine line from the only truth I knew.
Judged before the cold World that brings pain to my eyes,
And soon the opinions of believe will cause my demise!
As it has done and will become,
My hate,
Of this overwhelming fate...
