Veterans day is honored well,
To remember those who served with will.Children,wives,and family at home,All missing him for fear he'll be gone.But just as they thought he had disappeared,He returned and announced for all to hear,the war is over it had finally ended,I'm still here this is absolutely splendid.But for all of you whose kin is still gone,Never fear they wont be long.sorrow spread across the land,Many people are in God's hands.They'll never know what it's like,to be a Veteran,Through the fight.
