Insignificant Me

I try to be nice
I try to kind
I'd give you the world
If I really tried

But it seems as if
Whenever I do this
You always put me down
And take it for granted

I never get any appreciation
And I get really sick of it

Even though I'd give you the world
If you really wanted it
You do this to me
You make me feel small
And insignificant

So I'm here to say Thanks
For ripping out my heart
and taking everything
I've ever done for you
For granted

I really appreciate it
Well actually no I don't
I feel hurt

But some day I'll get over it
When you're not in my life
When I don't have to
Constantly feel down
