Tastebuds

by Leah   Nov 15, 2006

Everyone knows,
Who holds their love,
Who wipes away all their tears
But I sit alone,
As I look around
For something to utter
Just to make a sound
But soon I realize
I need someone to hold
I need someone
Who loves me for who I am
Someone who will always seize my hand
Someone who doesnt think Im foolish
Someone who loves me for who I am
I am speechless,
and the words that I die to say
just wont come out
He sits there, on the tip of my tongue,
But his name just wont come out
It seems as if
I have forgotten,
What love really is
It is like I have burned
Every single taste bud on my tongue
And I cant taste that flavor any longer
The flavor of love,
Has gone
