Too Hard

by Silentblond   Nov 15, 2006

Lost memories so hard to reach
The lost to hard to save
Prayer is so hard to teach
And its so hard to behave
If all things were too hard
And the world finally gave up
Would we be who we are?
When we all say were not good enough
If the sun stopped coming to us
And the moon didnt want to play
Would the world be destroyed for us?
And the good all run away?
The river is to hard to carry
The blood flows to fast
The gay can finally marry
And the children linger on the past
The future holds no future
If will all give up on the tough
Were no longer the nurture
When we stop when the going gets rough
Hey, you out there
Can you hear your world dying?
Forget about whats fair
And stop the widow from crying
Its to hard to comfort someone in need
The lost difficult to find
The starving long to have whatever you feed
Opposites to hard to bind
Were just being cold
When we fine things to hard
Our souls all ready sold
Were not choosing the right card
I remember when I was like you
I hated what I was
But no moments no true
The harder it gets, because
Youre not searching
Youre hiding from your life
Get out there marching
Will the children be given the knife?
Dont give under the strain
Were here all the way
You may lose to your pain
But, I know, Im here to stay
Because
Lost memories can be found
And the lost can be saved
Prayer starts with a sound
And the bad can always behave
Things can be hard
But we wont give up
Because it makes us who we are
And we know were good enough
