You Were Always There

All those nights,
That I would stay up and cry,
I would call you,
So my feelings would change.

You always made me feel good,
Always made me feel loved,
And I'll never forget you for that,
Till my very last breath.

You always knew when I was sad,
Even when I hid it with a smile,
You would always tell me,
"Don't worry everything will be okay".

And I believed you that it would,
But nothing ever got better,
But I still never gave up,
Cause I trusted you.

Somethings are falling into place now,
But also somethings are falling apart,
But no matter what happens,
I'm glad to have you as a friend.

    It was great until the first half of the last stanza. it felt like you needed to find something to throw there, and it didnt quite fit in regards to flow. but keep trying!4/5

    Meaningful write. It's easy to feel how close you feel to this person, and how you don't want things to change, even if it seems as though they will.

    I enjoyed this. Good work.
