How could you?
You know exactly how to hurt me
But I never thought that this could be true
I just couldn't see

You hurt me deeply!
My trust in you was true
But I guess you didn't care, evidently

Why? Thats what I want to know
Why do I deserve to be treated like so?
Did I do something wrong, something bad?
Did I just make you mad?

You were supposed to be my BEST friend.
Friends all the way to the end
So what happened? what changed?
What? just tell me so I can change.

Whatever I did wrong, just tell me!
Because evidently I'm blind, because I can't see
What I did to deserve this,
What did I miss?

Did I miss something big or small?
Did I miss anything at all?
Even if it wasn't important, tell me
Because I seriously can't see it.

I never intentionally hurt you.
I never said anything that wasn't true.
I never told your man all
Those things, big or small.

Is that why?
Because, for you, I lied?
Is that my fault? IS that why you
Are as mad as you are? Is that it?

I still don't understand
But ok I guess there's nothing
I can do but lie
And say everything's okay again.
