I just want to tell you how I feel....

They say your first love never really dies,
Well I happen to dissagree,
Because not only did the love die,
But what also died was me.......

Through all the things we went through,
I was ALWAYS by YOUR side.
And ignorantly I thought,
You'd always be by mine.

I believe you when you told me you loved me,
I thought I was your queen.
But the truth is, I was dumb,
Then left alone and heart broken.

Why did you hurt me?
What did I do?
The only crime I'm guilty of,
Was simply loving you.

I didn't deserve to be hurt,
I gave you my heart,
But all you did was rip it apart,
I was doomed from the start.

I did nothing to hurt you,
I did nothing to hurt your feelings.
But still, you had no remorse,
And you Still hurt me.

Well now I'm over you,
I'm finish with feeling sad.
I'm finished with feeling angry,
I'm finished with feeling bad.

Cuz now I am a women,
I'm no longer just a girl.
And now I'm so much stronger,
I make a difference in this world.
Now I am happy,
For just being me,
And I don't need you either,
Cuz you obviously don't need me.
