I saw with my eyes closed

I awake to see the dark of night,
I awake to see the dark morning,
I awake to see the dark truth.

I now see,
the stupidity of mankind,
how they destroy themselves,
to find simple pleasures.

All this I have been taught to do,
all these lies I have been told,
no more will I go through their dreams.

I am now myself,
I am no more anybody else,
I have seen the truth,
and i saw it all with closed eyes
