Drink Away The Pain

As i put the bottle to my mouth
I'm reminded of the pain
My mind then reminisces
So I take a drink again
The liquor stops the memories
My thoughts come to a halt
I forget to feel the heartache
But I remember its your fault
The shot glass overflows
Tequila fills it to my aid
Soon I'll be passed out
The memories will temporarily fade
A few more swigs of liquor
And I'm lying on the floor
I wake up with a headache
But my heart it aches no more
