The noon bell

by The Abstruse One   Nov 15, 2006

The sound of the noon bell looms in the air
The eerie feeling of death overcomes me
Oblivious to what goes on on the other side of the wall

Every other day when the noon bell sounds
Thoughts of uncertainty fill my mind
Pondering a way to stop the madness

It's half way over and I'm still down
The insanity will continue until the next ring
When the next bell sounds all is good once again

The clock continues to tick
My heart proceeds to race
The next bell now sounds
