I say the words, "i love these things, yes i do"
a little bit too often during the day
but i never say it with truth
i dont want to abuse these words, or else it wont stay

i say that i love certain songs i hear
and the person who sings
listening to the voice in my ear
and the motion in my hips it brings

i say that i love the beach
the waves crashing down on me
the beneath my feet
being one with the sea

i say that i love to shop at the mall
burying new clothes of many
going to stores of many
spending daddys pretty penny

i say that i love to talk on my cell phone
passing the time so fast
being in that whole gossip zone
wishing the conversations to always last

but i dont truly love any of these
these are just things i like to do
but baby, you better believe me when i say
"baby, i love YOU"!!!
