Once upon a time,
In a fairytale place,
There was a slight disturbance,
A girl without a place.
She seemed so sick with worry,
A princess locked inside,
Her feelings all hiden,
By her royal families pride.
Once upon a time,
In a place lost in the clouds,
There was a broken angel,
Falling to the ground.
As he fell he saw her,
Tears down her face,
The way her eyes did glimmer,
Made his broken heart race.
Once upon a time.
When the clouds were looking grey,
The angel touched the princess.
And flew her far away.
The angel of pure beauty,
Eyes that seemed to shine,
He saw the princess for what she was,
And the home she was trying to find.
He took her in his arms,
And wiped away her tears,
And that night they spent,
Talking about her fears.
And for eternity they lay,
Their breaths entwined together,
And as the sunrise hit their faces,
They knew it meant forever.
In the arms of an angel,
The princess found her home,
An angel so strong and tender,
Who had also been alone.
It was he who found her beauty,
Behind her tear-filled eyes,
It was he who saw the truth,
Behind her pitiful lies.
In the arms of an angel,
Plain it was to see,
That forever and a day,
It was trully meant to be.
