she hears all the words
she sees all their frowns
how can she live her life
if they're there just to put her down

they're supposed to just support her
to show how much they care
but every time she needed them
they were never there

they say shes doing great
they say shes doing well
but she knows how bad things are
she knows shes living hell

they think she doesn't know
that they think shes lost her mind
they think shes just no one
shes being left behind

she pretends that she doesn't notice
that she thinks everything is great
but she knows her life is stupid
she knows her life is fake

the argument of love
the shattered heart of gold
she wishes she could just forget
forget everything shes been told

her parents say it's just a phase
that shell be fine soon enough
but shes slowly losing control
life is getting way too tough

she gave all she had
she tried her very best
but life got all it could from her
it really put her to the test

her mother always told her
that life was made for love
and no matter what price you paid
god will send someone from up above

shes waited too long
its time she got her due
she gave and gave her heart
yeah, she gave it all to you

but she now lives her life
in the background of the rest
she never had what it took
she couldn't beat the best

to know what it feels like
to know her daily pain
take a thousand knives and stab yourself
but it still wouldn't be the same

she closes her eyes
and wishes on a star

as i possibly can
to get away from the hard life'
she was under too much pressure
so she ran and found knife

with that she took her life
another shadow to the dark
another soul no longer here
