The Wolf (Triolet)

by Gem   Nov 16, 2006

The wolf howls with a haunting sound
It's call echoing through the night
Poignant, sad, heard from miles around
The wolf howls with a haunting sound
As it travels quickly in leaps and bounds
To catch a glimpse is a rare sight
The wolf howls with a haunting sound
It's call echoing through the night ©

(Triolet. The first line repeats on the fourth and seventh. The second line repeats on the eighth. The ryhme scheme goes like this; ABaAabAB. (only two rhymes are used)
