but is it true?
i'd cross the ocean,
just to be with you.
i'd travel the would,
if i had to for you.
so tell me the truth,
and tell me now.
cause i love you
like no one else

    It's short and sweet, BUT, no offense~ it's a Common start. Now, try to focus on your senses, add metaphors and abstract imagery.

    Try:
    "Baby, I love you like the way
    The rose sings to the sun
    Though I may not know
    whether you love me back
    Let me write you a poem
    So sweet and tender
    I'd cross the ocean for you
    Even when a summer storm brews
    I'd fly around the world
    Just for the sake of you....etc
