Death\'s relief

by Spoken Silence   Nov 17, 2006

Her slowing heartbeat set the pulse of time,
as her last moments faded into memories.
Seconds seemed to last lifetimes as fate does its death dance around her lost soul.
The last point in her life was her heart\'s first point of courage.
With three simple words
fear\'s mask was lifted.
I love you....
the last words I heard as the final breath left the body of a borrowed angel.
