    Very good poem, the imagery was great. I find it really difficult to write nature poems, infact i can't write them at all lol. You did a really good job on this though.

    I have always enjoyed your poems and this one is no exception. I still find that the nature section of this site generates some really great poems as they are fresh and not filled with the L word which gets misused even by myself sometimes. Your pineness has left me with scents of the woods as I sit here at my work bench. thanks

    I meant to add that I only have one or two poems about nature. This is one Memories Of My Shadow which I wrote for some great oaks that they found so much pleasure in cutting down a few years ago in order to widen a street that was fine as it was... progress has ways of saddening the trees..
