The World Divides

by Sarah Ann   Nov 17, 2006

The ashes fall upon my face,
As I cry hard; in dismay,
You are never here to comfort me...

Why don't you go away?

Colors flash by; swaying.
And I have no conception,
My snow white queen is calling me
Enduring in deception

I'm waking up from my dream
It's cold in here, and lonely
I am blind to your pastiche now...

You were my one and only.

Why are you hurting me?
I am losing my mind...
But all you do is stand there
As my world divides.

This was a really good poem, short but deep. Really neat rhymes too.

    Good luck with the contest!
