The search

I lay my bare feet
On a thousand miles of thorns;
With passion and pride;
I searched for my holy grail;
The meaning of life;
and my eternal happiness;
The pain was great
and so long was the wait;
I knew have searched in vain;
The answer have eluded me;
But I continued my search;

Let me sail through;
These rough seas....
With my restless heart
and tired soul;
I crawled on my blistered feet;
On these pebbles and stones;
Seeking the truth about me;
I have searched in vain yet again,
And no answer was coming;
I have searched every where;
But I am blinded by ignorance;
For the answer is within myself;

Life is a journey;
Life is an education;
Walk through it graciously;
Learn and acquire;
Wisdom and knowledge...
Seek within us;
For the answer is always awaiting;

Let go of our greed;
Let go of our pride;
Let go of our prejudice
Let go of our selves...
