We Can`t Turn Back .

You took away my childhood laughter,
Turned my life into chaos and disaster.
Now I'm in a war of mind vs. heart,
While still continuing to fall apart.
My mind says to hold on; just keep on trying,
But my heart can't take it; it's slowly dying.
This pain, and all else that you caused,
My mind isn't working, my lungs have paused.
I can't breath...I'm choking,
All this time I thought I was joking.
My pain is real, like a heart attack,
But we both know, we can't turn back.
