I can't say I'll really ever hate you
Because the truth is that I won't

I'll lie and say I don't

It hurts to even think about
The times we were together
I thought they'd always be beautiful

But now they're nothing more
Then a reminder that you're gone

Watching the fire spark

And was again consumed by dark

So as I watch our pictures burn

I feel nothing but stupidity
That I believed your notes were true

Don't expect me to come back
