A Friend Like No Other

by naughtyangelxxx   Nov 19, 2006

On a day I thought I was alone
Was a friend, who showed support,
She said you can do this Kerry
The ball is in your court,
You know you deserve better
So give yourself that chance,
He is just the same as others
And thinks with the thing in his pants,
Although they are all the same
There is one out there for you,
One in which will be genuine
Loving, kind and true,
I was grateful for her views
And knew she was always right,
When I thought I was all alone
She was the one in sight,
I was so grateful to have
Such a friend in my life,
One who will see me through
All strand and strife,
She is different from the others
The ones I once called friends,
She will never judge me for what I do
And would always make amends,
I value her friendship
And will always let her know,
That she can depend on me
The way I do her so.

I wrote this poem for my friend Amy. She is wonderful.
