About To Choke

by Drunke   Nov 19, 2006

I'm standing here about to choke
Remembering the last time we spoke
All we did was argue & cry
We did that a lot but it was different this time
This time it was the last
That you was done and i was apart of the past
I was dumb I know that now
I should have kept quiet but i guess i didn't know how
For I have lost you & your never coming back
I wanted to tell you i was sorry but bravery was something i lacked
I wanted to tell you how much I care
But i guess i you'll never know cuz I'm about to step off this chair
When they find me hopefully you'll get this note
Cuz I'm standing here about to choke

O.O some pretty explicit imagery... at the end the reader is hit by the sense of urgency in the poem, the way it was short and to the point, because it had no time to spare.
