My best friend got shot

My best friend got shot
and I don't know why,
He didn't tell me a thing
he just made me think everything was fine.

He told me one day
just out of the blue,
P i got shot,
and I didn't know what to do.

I couldn't believe what he was saying,
I couldn't believe my eyes,
I just started crying
without even caring who was by my side.

because he meant everything to me
he just didn't see
that if i lose him,
what would my life be?

He begged me to stop crying,
but I couldn't stop the tears,
He said,"I'm fine, I'll be ok, be happy i lived."

But I couldn't be happy,
knowing what might have been,
Knowing that might have been the last time
i ever talked to my best friend.

He just doesn't understand how much he means to me,
or how he makes me feel whenever he speaks to me.

I wish i could tell him the truth about how i feel,
but i don't know if he feels the same way,
or if he already has a girl waiting for him

But what i do know is that he's alive,
and i will treasure every last moment with him,
until the day i die.
