The blood droplets like sequins
shine on the floor
as my one true love falls
"he wont hurt you anymore"
i look into the shadows
she's standing there with a smile
the blade wiped between her fingers
"I've been waiting for a while"
the tears of anger and shock
fall down my face
i turn around to stare at her
my heartbeats quickening their pace
a smug smile stretches from her mouth
she takes a step too near
i stand my ground, fists clenched
showing not a trace of fear
"I've done you a favor my friend,
he was hurting you too long..
don't even think of daring to say
that what I've done is wrong"
the water flowing from my eyes
didn't block my vision at all
everything just happened in a blur
as i saw her crumple and fall
the knife now in the hand of me
fresh blood covers the blade
and with one glimpse at the scene before me
my breath begins to fade....
