Do we get to choose?

Our lives are mapped out for us,
No matter however much we create or fuss,
The good and bad just come along,
Bringing all whats right and wrong.

Sometimes you think life is bad,
Feeling down and very sad,
Other days your life is very bright,
Full of bright and shining light.

Dark nights when your on your own,
Wishing you didn't feel so alone,
Wanting someone to share your night,
Making you feel that everything will be alright.

But life is never fair,
Sometimes our lives were never meant to share,
But I know this for me will never be,
As Darling I know very soon together we will be.
