The Eyes Of An Angel

by Italian Stallion   Nov 19, 2006

The eyes of an angel
Lie upon thee
Looking over you and me

As thee begins to sigh
She takes her wings
And spreads them wide

Flying with such grace
As she lands before thee
Holding her wings out

As if she wants a hug
On this given day
For thee to feel free

And move beyond mis-believe
Holding her so close to thee
Never wanting to let go

For thyself is afraid
Afraid she'll loose her wings
After she helped thee
