Hanging up my guns

Not all knights wear shining armor,
Not all heroes can be perfect.

Not all gems are flawless,
Not all outlaws are lawless.

You don't believe in me,
So why should I believe in we?

You obviously can't understand,
Not everything will be perfect in the end.

Nothing have I ever known,
Except my love for you which I have shown.

Not everyone can be your knight in shining armor,
I have always wanted to be that knight, but no more.

You cracked my armor, and rusted my sword,
I don't want to be your knight anymore.

In fact, I don't want to be a knight for anyone anymore,
I don't want to associate myself with a w&^%$.

Take your arm off of mine, this hero is hanging up his guns,
I go to seek a piece of me I lost when i picked them up for you.
