Unanswered Prayer

I pray to the heavens,
Down on my knees,
I ask for your forgiveness,
For you to bless me.

This pain I feel,
Oh so real,
I long for Love,
I long for You.

As I go,
Through the night,
Waiting for dawn,
So I can sleep without nightmares.

The power of Love,
Is all that can save me,
A careless breath,
Is all that will kill me.

Here I ask,
One more time,
Please forgive me,
As I dwell on not knowing.

Forever,
In darkness,
Searching for light,
I wait,
Until I see your face.
