A Love Poem

by 100Percent_inlove   Nov 20, 2006

Take me to a world of enchantment.

Sing my name in loving words.

Love me to the end of time,

Like the moon loves the soft, dark rug in the sky.

Look into my eyes, and say the magic words.

Whisper in my ear that which I want to hear.

Cradle me in a sweet lullaby

Hummed by your heart and soul.

Don't leave my heart burning in desire,

The desire to feel you close to me.

Nothing on earth would make me smile more

Than the fact of you loving me the same, maybe more.

One word for you, angel.

Two words, love me.

Three words, I love you.

Four, I need you now.

If you could feel my care,

Your heart wouldn't fit in your chest.

My lungs have shrunken and I cannot breath

But three words from you will cure me.
