If only we could press pause

and rewind back to the beginning

Because it's not like how it was

and now my days seem filled with crying

My love for you still burns

and I don't ever want to let go

But tears continue to find ways to return

and I get stuck in sorrow

Please don't let me leave

and have you disappear out of my life

because I know we can retrieve

our love and awaken it alive
