Fall from bliss.

by Sarah   Nov 20, 2006

From the heart it comes.
Dimming; but feelings,
Weighing down upon what was strong,
Give and take; Wills,
Mind, body and souls forever one,
Not a word can describe, a touch can set free,
Causing deep restrictions; breathlessness,
Each is but half,
They hammer not a nail,
But still building; a world,
Inhabitancy; Two,
She, an angel to a pair of eyes; his,
He, a god, in hers,
Truth evades; behind fact,
Reality wins the race,
Then pain; diminished from their pedestal,
Now they are mortal in all eyes,
Memories dubbed in his drowned splendour,
While she's lost in her salt water sea,
He is calm, not afraid, as the lights go out,
Her walls built; no treasure ever found.
One body, two hearts, are dead.
