Me and you go way back
That one day you kissed me made me think I was having a heart attack
Cause you sent my heart pacing at too fast of a speed
Since 7th grade your the only one I seem to need
I was floating on clouds during those 3 days
I was so happy I didn't know what 2 say
Now you change your mind for 1 other girl
You took and shattered my whole world
Of course that was already bad enough
The fact that the girl is my friend...makes it too tough
Me and her have been friends for some time
We're alike in a lot of ways
The fact you like her makes it hard..cause I don't know what 2 say
I don't know whether to hate you and be her friend
I don't know if I should hate her for not being there in the end
When it comes down to it all I feel is pain
For awhile things aren't going to be the same
Me and you should have had more than this
I can't believe you think I wasn't worth it
That I mean nothing more or less to you
And all of the things we've done and been threw-
Mean about as much as a dime in your head
You didn't even mean anything you said
Me and her will always be tight
Just so you know she doesn't want you alright?
This may be breaking news but you usually can't move from one girl to her homie
Cause they hear about you.....they won't make the mistake that left their friend upset and lonely

If she dates you she doesn't know what she's getting herself into
As for me and you...there isn't anything left to do
Except for me to say that I'm threw with you
You may never find another girl like me
And if you ever have second thoughts....it'll be 2 late 2 see-

Since you betrayed me there's nothing left of our romance
So me and her are going to stick together
