Hear my Cry

by sweet_rebellion   Nov 20, 2006

I sit in the corner and sob silently
My body is cold and I shudder violently

If only you knew the pain that you have caused
you only notice my problems and my flaws

I know you wish I would lay down and die
I only wish you would hear my sad cry

I lift up my face and look up above
I'm searching and searching for happiness and love

You throw me aside, as if to say
I'm a waste of your time, so here I will lay

the demons surround me screaming my name
My blood is the only cure of my pain

Their screaming is deafening until I finally give in
They knew once I did, it was my soul they would win

They laugh and they laugh, now theres no turning back
My blood turns to gray and my life turns to black

When I agreed to give in I did not know I would die
This would not have happened if you had just heard my cry

Beautiful and sad poem....So raw and emotional...straight from the heart..and that's what matters, right?
Any-who, I love it.. Keep it up.
