when you weren't in the mood for my attitude.
Thank you Mom for helping me to find the light to the end of the tunnel
I didn't think I ever would.
Thank you Mom for helping me with school projects
when they were do the next day.
Thank you Mom for buying me clothes
and always making sure I had food to eat.
Thank you Mom for not letting me date until I'm 16
I think I understand why now.
Thank you Mom for not spoiling me too much
I don't need half the things I want.
Thank you Mom for guiding me through
even though I make mistakes.
Thank you Mom for supporting me in everything I do
your opinion matters.
Most of all, I want to thank you
for giving me the gift of life.
I will always try to make the best choices
from what you've taught me.
