Wanting to get away
Leave all the problems
Start a new life
But that's not possible
At the sign of any
Happiness, warmth, love
It all gets taken away
And I just get dragged down again
Burdened with more
Sadness and depression
Not able to just walk away
That would be too easy
And life wont let anything
Be that simple
Lost in the dark
With no way out
