You Were There

I was there for you
as you were there for me.
We layed on the cold grass
telling eachother we are meant to be.

Over the night, thinking I should tell you how I feel.
How I think our relationship is real.
Nothing can go wrong now.
I got to find how you feel about me somehow.

In the morning, I walked to your house.
Hoping you were there and up and about.
I knocked on your door hoping you were going to answer.
When your mom came up with tears.
She told me you got in a car wreck and told me that your last words were, \"mom, please tell her that I love her and I will be waiting for her.\"

You were there, waiting for me. Now God has both of us and we sure are meant to be.

    What can i say about this piece,

    you told me you dont write much , i can see that quality is not something you can find in great numbers.

    yes , no one can understand how much it mean to lose someone you love that way,i did once 4 years ago , and i still feel her with me everyday and everymomnet rememberinher words
    , i can not coment more on this poem ,i did not care the rhyming or structure
    this poem is from the heart straight to my soul..
