Flames

I stare at you in wonder,
thinking whats on your mind,
the thoughts hit me like thunder,
how was i to be so blind.

The flames they burn inside of me,
making me feel so divine,
the way that you look at me,
sends shivers down my spine.

I dont know you that well,
we've spoken a few times,
yet whenever i see you,
my heart and soul go wild.

My mind goes into over drive,
and thinks of you the whole time,
your stood there with the look,
of wonder and amazement.....

And that is because i stare at you,
and im smiling away,
as these thoughts in my mind,
begin to play.

Although this game is very cruel,
i know that one day,
ill be proved as no fool,
and you will feel the exact same way.

The feeling is ecstatic,
the mind is playing games,
but i really like this,
the feeling of those flames.

They are bursting up inside of me,
warming up my heart,
and the only one who can ignite them,
is you and i knew this from the start.

And then when you have to go,
the flames they go on burning,
they are never extinguished,
as i still have the thought of you returning.
